Ross Bridge

Built in 1836 over the Macquarie River using convict labour. Ross is halway between Hobart and Launceston on the Heritage Highway. Trip to Launceston was after a morning at Salamanca market in Hobart. Turns out the driver lived 5 mins down the road from me in Edinburgh when he worked here - small world!

The last time I was in a town called Ross (s Island, NZ) someone got a speeding ticket and it wasn't me!
