Light Art - Kijkduin

The 'Light Art' event in the seaside resort of Kijkduin, Den Haag took place this Winter for its sixth year. From Mid-December to February more than 100 globes/orbs are spread along the boulevard and sand dunes, some handpainted, most plain white which glow and constantly change colours in the evening hours.

The weatherman was wrong as usual, the sun most certainly did not make an appearance today. It was a bitterly cold, bracing wind, like a totally different world to Tuesday when I was here last, but it was nice to walk along the coast and blow the cobwebs away, especially as night fell, it's been a while since I strolled along the beach in the dark. Something I should do more often.
