A Canterbury Tail

Paris

We left Barkings folks house in Surrey nice and early to make sure we got to the Eurostar in time, arriving very early. This is new to us as we are late for most things.

Arrived in Paris and headed for our hotel, only to find that it was the same hotel that we stayed in last time we were here, four years or so ago. I'm not sure how many 3 star hotels that Paris has but I reckon the chances of us inadvertantly booking the same one are pretty low. Anyway the hotel was fine, cheap and close to the Gare Du Nord, what more can you want (quiet neighbours as it turns out!)

We nipped out for a bite to eat and wandered the Paris streets at night, ending up at Le Sacré Coeur. We had great views over Paris, and took several shots.

On the way back to the hotel we stopped off for a crêpe, I had a nutella and banana one which had half a tub of nutella on it. I managed to shovel it all in but it was hard going.

Back to the hotel to sleep, or try to. We had very noisy neighbours with loud voices who chatted for ages, finally got to sleep.
