A Canterbury Tail

Eiffel Tower

Today was a mammoth walking session. The GPS clocked up 18 kilometres and it felt like it. It was a lovely day, a big contrast to yesterdays rain.

We headed for the Eiffel Tower as it is the furthest point from our hotel and we thought we would use the nice weather as much as we could. We had a fresh baguette and cheese while people watching and soaking in the view. Then it was over to Notre Dame stopping at a patisserie for a large eclair for me and an even bigger religeuse for Barking. We scoffed them sitting on a bench taking in the architecture of Notre Dame, lovely (view and pastry.)

Had a genuine French experience today, I used a pisseoir for the first time.

When in Paris eat why not eat Italien? Dinner was a huge meal of pasta, fantastic. Quite a days eating all said and done.
