must try harder

Who's yours?

Well everyone else seems to be getting in on the act, so I will too!

B was up at the crack of dawn and out of the house around 6.30 this morning whilst yours truly was tucked up nice and warm. I had thought of getting up with her the previous night, but work kept me at my desk way longer than expected, ultimately working into the very early hours of the morning, so no way my body was likely to rouse after 2 hours sleep.

When I did come round, which wasn't much after 8, i was expecting to see others about, but everyone had already left. So, a nice mellow cup of coffee and wandered into my office to find 4 chocolate hearts on my keyboard. Bless.

Edge was taken off of the gesture as there were three cards on kitchen top for the three boys with identical chocolate love hearts covered in the same red foil. Hmmm. Why is it mothers do this for their children? She claims she doesn't want her boys to be empty-handed on this day of love. (Guess what B, they'll know it's you!).

Personally not overly into the commercialism of such things (but I did send B a message, which she hasn't found yet) :(

Happy Love day everyone.
