Bacteria

During Microbiology, we got to get our agar plates back with smears of M. luteus.
I was so happy with mine, since I usually mess these up.
It's funny how they look like letter "V.l.i", perhaps it stands for something??
Anyone have any suggestions??

That was the highlight of my day, believe it or not!
