No outside work today

A little on the wet side today so not much happening outside on site.

This is the problem with this time of year, its either dry and too cold to work or mild but very wet. The too cold thing, by the way, is not that the guys are wooses (spelling?) but building materials such as cement mortar or roughcast can only be applied if the temperature is 3 degrees C and rising. We often don't have that in Scotland in the winter period between September and May. LOL

Seriously though, I don't mind some heavy rain at this point in a build programme as it is very good at pointing out design or installation issues that create leaks in the building. This gives us a chance to fix stuff before the build goes too far and we usually have happy campers in their dry new homes at the end.

Anyway, must go and look for leaks now. Cheers.
