A practical night at the camera club tonight, on the theme of studio portraiture. It's not a discipline that particularly inspires me; at least not when you have a couple of models who are as frightened of the setup as I am, and forty guys with cameras who forget that the models can actually talk, and take suggestions. However, I'm not bad at figuring out how to use various bits of kit, and my friend here asked me to show him how to use his flash gun remotely, so I papped him in the process.
