Tiny yellow flowers

I had several problems on my walk today - lots and lots of mud and the fact that I'd left my memory card in our laptop. Only five pictures will store on my camera without the card.

This is a hedge that adjoins our work car park. I've watched these small yellow flowers unfold from tightly packed buds over the last week.

My trip to the gym was aborted this evening too - arrived to find I had forgotten to pack my trainers. I didn't have my goggles either so a swim was out of the question too (didn't want to lose contact lenses!).

All in all, not a great day for remembering things.
