Learning to swim

Every Friday afternoon we go to Bedum for Nienke's swimming lesson. Once a month the parents are allowed to sit beside the pool and watch the lesson. I usually don't keep track of when these special lessons are, but this day I already expected it so I took my camera. Conditions are not ideal: too dark and the flash of the compact camera doesn't get very far. I took this when she was at the edge of the pool and within range of the flash.

Nienke is making good progress and it's great to see her having fun.
