And they're off....

This was the start of the Bramley 20/10 race this morning. This road race allows runners to do a 10 or 20 mile circuit. I think it is popular with runners who are training for the London Marathon.

Husband decided to take part and really enjoyed the race. I managed to go for a short walk around part of the course, stop off for a cup of coffee with a friend who lives opposite the start of the race and then see husband reach the finishing line.

We met a lady from our gym who failed in her attempt to persuade me to join her in half marathon training last year. She has already completed one half marathon and is on for a second one in March. Hope she got round OK today.
