Lizard Point

That's not a lizard - it's a Turnstone (I think) - but shot at the most southerly point on mainland Britain, the tip of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall. We were able to get very close to the feeding birds and as the tide came in they flew up from the rocks as the waves passed below. Also saw choughs flying near Kynance Cove but not close enough to attempt a photograph.

A rather grey day on the whole and not the light for seascapes really so just scouting locations for another trip, perhaps at Easter when we're back down this way.

Went to see Isabelle gig rowing this morning at Mylor but didn't get any great action shots. Again that'll have to be another day, but good to see the boats on the water.

The kids went swimming briefly at Kynance Cove in freezing grey breakers. Fiona was very worried they'd not survive, but they did and felt more alive for the experience I'm sure.
