The bridge

This is Workman Bridge in Evesham, built in 1856 (I know this as there is a plaque on it photo here)

The River Avon is still quite high, I wouldn't want to live in the mobile homes just across from here. The residents must get very nervous when the river starts rising.

Not many people in Evesham this afternoon, but there aren't that many shops open on a Sunday to draw people in. Lots of empty shops on the High Street too which doesn't help. You have to worry a bit about little towns like Evesham, are they going to survive?
