Escalation

In London you seem to spend a lot of time on escalators.

Cyclops and I stayed at the Apex London Wall hotel which was lovely. Central-ish, certainly easy to get to, and quiet in the City at the weekend.

Ooh it was misty and nasty and cold. We still had a nice time though.

First thing we went to an exhibition called London street photography at the Museum of London which was near our hotel.

Later we met some people for lunch in Greenwich. These included Londoners BigW and Mrs-BigW-to-be, and fellow Edinburgers 77 and his gf. We then went back into town to catch up with S who we hadn't seen in ages.

We got a 9pm flight home from London City airport which was very convenient and civilised.
