Good Morning, Geese!

I'm a real early morning person and today I managed to take my walk before the geese were up. They were just beginning to rise when I visited them. One of them is stretching his wings while the others are already heading for the next watering place.

However, I was too late to catch the chickens asleep- the roosters were already busy telling the world they're there. I guess this places me somewhere between chickens and geese in some kind of general pecking order.

The geese on the pic are Pale- bellied Brant Geese (Branta bernicla hrota).
