Eurasian Nuthatch

I caught this Eurasian Nuthatch early in the morning while he was looking for his breakfast. He was very shy first, so I stood still for a while until he forgot about me. However, he seemed to find the clacking noise of my camera irritating, so I didn't take too many pics.

Winter's back in full force. We had -7°C /19.4F° this morning in Bremen. I hurried home and brewed myself a cup of green tea with a bit of fresh ginger to warm up.
