Balancing Act

Sorry folks , yet another wee chafinch.

We went for a walk with Oscar along through the Furnace Quarry to Kenmore ( on Loch Fyne ) . Got quite wet as there was a constant fine drizzle ( the kind of rain my brother calls "sleakit rain" as it is so fine and gets in everwhere without you realising it )

Anyway the walk was profitable in that I collected two more small branches which had been chpped down to clear the shore path. Got home soaked and cold but stayed out toarrange said round the perches , no point in going straight in as I have a feeling I would have stayed in the cosy warmth rather than venture back outside later.

So , job done settled down patiently to watch for birds settling on the perch. We had the usual chaffinches , a beautiful blue tit , which , off course didn't stay still to get a decent shot , a tiny siskin and a gorgeous wee coal tit. needless to say only the chaffinches settled long enough to get a shot .

Tomorrow is another day , hope I get the coal tit.
