Livestock Fencing, Old and Not So Old

This location is about 2 miles from home. I have not visited here before, but wow, what a treasure trove of photographic opportunities! The area is used at roundup time to collect, sort, brand, and load the range cattle that are abundant in the surrounding hills most of the year. In the old days fence material was anything you could find to support boards and barbed wire, to make pens. Because it was constantly falling apart more durably fencing material was used. Guess those little "doggies', cows in cowboy speak, get a might rambunctious around branding time. Anyway, hope you enjoy looking, because you'll be seeing these parts again, I'm sure.
