Chaffinch

My morning walk around Birnie Loch has become a bit of a habit this week, an enjoyable peaceful hour or so while Bro3 is at nursery and Bro4 has a snooze. There are many mundane tasks around the house I could be doing in this time mind you but a walk in the fresh air beats housework anyday.

Yesterday's battling swans were all still on the Loch but being very subdued and keeping well away from each other. There'll be a few more battles before Spring I imagine.

Off to the opticians this afternoon with Bro1's glasses that need new lenses due to the huge scrapes on them and Bro3's totally broken ones. We've not been there with wrecked glasses for about a month, that's fairly good going for The Bros!
