Rushed sunset

Just as I thought I was going to have to settle for another slightly uninspired crocus blip I caught the colour of the sky through the bathroom window and ran for the camera. Unfortunately other than the very small bathroom window all the others in the house face north or south, so not the best angle to catch the sunset. But this is at least the evidence that there is still actually a sun in the sky over the UK, seen today for the first time for at least a week if not longer.
