Blue Tit

This Blue Tit was very obliging today and allowed me to get very close as he sat and preened. It was quite windy and he sometimes had difficulty staying on his perch and would puff himself up like a ball.

I've had a pair inspect our nestbox on our wooden arch and I'm praying that they choose it to breed this year!
