Buzzard in flight

I decided to go up to my local patch (known as Shanwell Wood) this morning as it has been by far the sunniest and warmest day so far this year.

I was standing at the edge of the wood trying to get photos of some small birds that were coming to a pile of seed and scattered mealworms when I heard a noise to my left. I noticed this beautiful Buzzard come flying right towards me and instinctively raised my camera and snapped wildly.

I'm quite pleased with the end result which was purely down to luck!
