A Sasanach's Skye photos

Heast

Today Clare and I drove down to Heast south of Broadford. nFor a change it was a sunny day. We walked one way along bthe shore for a while then returned and walked the other way. This photograph was taken as weheaded back to the van.

The Blue building we think must have originally been the School & Schoolhouse. When it was a school there would not have been many children though now-a-days there are about 30 houses at Heast. It is possible that children may have come across the Loch from Drunfearn but I cannot be sure.

The days are definately stretching out now. Here we are at 4-40pm and the land across Loch Portree is still bathed in sunlight.
