Bumble Bee

The Mahonia shrub by the gate is now full of scent in the warmer air and this has attracted the bumble bees which are now enjoying the nectar from the small yellow flowers. Last autumn we found a bumble bee nest in the garage but as we unwittingly disturbed them I don't know whether they ever settled back in it again.

The wind has changed direction but I was able to do some gardening in the sunshine this afternoon. Busy evening ahead so will leave commenting til later.
