'Big beach' in Welsh, Whitesands in English. Dramatic and uplifting this afternoon, with wind and spray and bright, bright sunlight. I've cropped this a bit to focus on the wave line - straightened too, having a bit of a struggle with my Fuji as the battery ran down.

A few years ago we came here regularly at weekends when our son Gwyn was into surfing. His board is still in the boathouse somewhere, gathering wet dust.
