IRL 21 - 18 SCO

Lazy morning in the office (bed!) and then a walk across the Meadows (wearing my new long winter coat!) to lunch at 'Angels with Bagpipes' in the Royal Mile. The town was full of the Irish but much quieter by the time we came out - guess they'd all gone to Murrayfield, to see another Scotland defeat.

Lunch was very good although it took ages for food to arrive but that didn't matter too much as the company and the crack was good.

It was a lovely afternoon and a beautiful walk across to the Grange. I haven't been out in the Meadows much during the day recently and it seems, suddenly, all the crocuses are out, swathes and swathes of purple and white.

My parents are well and safely back from Tenerife, despite dad having hisr pockets picked on their last day. A bit mean to target people in their late 80's.

Oh and I did send a Happy Birthday text to Mari and got a friendly message back in reply.
