Live Your Life Off The Wall

Lovely day again today. Went boxer-dogging at the Falkirk Wheel. No, it's a different kind, okay. Not as many boxers as the last time I was there, only eight others today but I was really pleased with Alfie. He's very big, the biggest there today but he behaved really well on the whole. He did slightly bully a very submissive dog called George but as soon as I told him off, he left him alone. We didn't do the full circuit as his legs got tired so I did a swerve and took a shortcut. We were still out for 1.5 hours though and he slept all the way home in the car.

You dont have to be in Scotland, although obviously it helps!! Several of the dogs on our walk today were rehomed through BWS. I've been involved myself with homechecking, fundraising events etc. These dogs are very loving, ideal family pets, and like a lot of big muscular dogs, very misunderstood.
