Twickenham again!

Well, it had to be a Twickenham photo really, didn't it?

We only got tickets to the England v France game at the last minute, single tickets only so Gary was sitting in West stand and I was in South but we weren't too far from each other. This is the view from my seat.

Enjoyed the game, not a perfect win but a good one over the French who are not always easy to beat. And Worcester Warriors also won, beating Cornish Pirates by 28-12 so a good rugby day all round for us.

Rather unimpressed with the prices at the stadium though. You don't expect a cheap day out there, but over £10 for a (posh) cheeseburger & chips took us by surprise. Swiftly followed by £4.30 for a pint of Strongbow, £4.30 for a (single) whisky and a further £1.50 for one of those tiny mixer cans! :-o

So next time, we'll go back to having something to eat in Twickenham itself, not at the Stadium and I'll smuggle in my little hipflask.

Didn't spoil our day though, we had a great time!
