Summer Rose

It is the last day of Summer, hard to believe with lovely blue sky and warm temperature but the mornings are a bit cooler and the sun is rising later and setting earlier.

There have been more aftershocks today some quite strong measuring 4.1 and 4.3 one was a good firm jolt! Schools are to be closed at least until 7 March. There are 29 schools in Christchurch which have been badly damaged and many teachers homes destroyed. More evacuations today round the Sumner Redclifts-Clifton areas as cracks appear in the rock face. The ground floor only of the Westfield Mall will reopen tomorrow, slowly but surely life continues on.

I got my backblips done today and I'm really pleased with them. I took far too many photos and had a huge job sorting through them but perservered. They start here if your interested, its a good mix of our time away :)

Time to prepare tea, I'm running late and hope to return later :)
