Days are numbered

Wishful thinking I guess but at 6:00am this morning, I saw the weather forecast & decided it wasn't going to be an outdoor shot for today. Then tried taking close ups of the fire but despite about 50 shots, couldn't get anything that conveyed the cosy feeling. So took a larger shot to show the inlaid tile which nicely connects to my blip name (Pferde = horses; Schorschi = Bavarian for Georgie). I could have waited a bit longer until one of the cats took up position on top of the fireplace but that photo opportunity can wait untilthe next time it's lit in November.....wishful thinking......
