Musings of a 39 40 41 yr old Royal Air Force pilot stuck on a ground tour!

The name of this blog came from the above. It was something fun I started when I was on a ground tour. But time has moved on and life has changed significantly. I will remain under this name of grounded, but I am happy to remain on the ground (although I'm not saying my flying days are over completely). I have started a new adventure, a new calling, a new chapter of life.

I left the RAF in 2011 to study Theology at the Scottish Baptist College as a Ministerial Student with the Baptist Union of Great Britain. After completing college, I was "called" to be the pastor of a small Baptist church within the M25 where I served for almost 6 years. But life circles round and I have returned to the RAF as a Padre with Wings! I am passionate about walking with others through life and demonstrating the love of God. As such I make no apology for the Christian witness which appears here from time-to-time as it is as much part of me as the skin in which I live. But this remains first and foremost my observations on life!

Grace & peace,
Grounded
