I've had a fascination with photography and photographic art for my whole life. I can still feel pleasure and pride when looking at photos I took when I was ten, remembering all at once why I took it and how I wanted it to turn out. Today the revelation is instant, back then I had to wait with keen anticipation for the envelope to come through the door...

Nowadays I have a few reoccurring themes for inspiration. The Yorkshire Dales is an ever giving subject, as is my treasured Hound and my equally treasured friends and family, the only difference being they don't follow me up hill and down dale as often and hence they're less frequent subjects.

A client told me about Blip, and although I can't blip every day, those shots that do make the cut are ones with which I am in love. It's lovely to look back on them, and I hope you enjoy them like I enjoy seeing your eyes on the world.

One day I will have a 'proper' camera. Until then, there's always my iPhone!
