What to say? What defines me?

I'm female, married, the experienced side of 50. I had my first child when I was 18, and my last when I was 47 (but I didn't go on having them all that while). I also have a lovely grandson Ollie, who calls me Amma because I don't particularly feel like a grandmother

My husband is Tanzanian, I speak (reasonably) fluent Swahili, and I miss Tanzania, where I lived and worked for 2 years.

I have 2 lovely brothers and a lovely sister (leasko).

I work in IT, which I find interesting and challenging, not least because 50 something grannys are not meant to work in IT.

I love photography, embroidery, making pots (from clay), and cooking. I used to be really good at pool, but I've had to let that lapse a bit.

My philosophy is in the lines from a Kris Kristoffersen (my quilty pleasure) song,' I'd rather be sorry for something I done, than for something that I didn't do'. Which has got me into a scrape or two.

Oh, and I have a penchant for brackets in particular, and punctuation in general.
