An American in Hong Kong

I'm actually half Swiss/half American and have been living in Asia Pacific since late 2005; living in Hong Kong now since May 2008. I absolutely love this city and find it incredibly inspiring and a great canvas for a daily photo journal. I am extremely interested in photography but am basically clueless. I have never taken a class and don't really have any idea what I'm doing; my love of photographs keeps me trying. I've been meaning to take a photo class for quite some time now and in the meantime, am trying to learn and grow in my ability on my own. I think the effort to find something inspirational to blip every day will get me to look at not only photography differently, but this city as well. And perhaps I will discover new hidden treasures each day as a result.

**Update** I signed up for a photo course in December!! (October and November were full). So excited! So hopefully you should be seeing an improvement in photos from me from then... :)
