I'm Sven, I'm a 26 year old manboy living in the UK and a bit of a digital camera virgin. I recently got my first ever DSLR, an Olympus E-510, and have been looking for a decent blog or gallery of some sort to put some of my MANY pictures!

Then I came across blipfoto and thought it would be a great way to look back at my progress, or lack of it, depending how it goes...

This site seems like a good incentive to stay active with the camera - to take a shot even if in a limited enviroment etc, and will maybe keep me finding new subjects & scenes to practice on...

With the camera I currently have:
14-42mm Kit Lense
40-150mm Lense
35mm Oly Zuiko Macro Lense (f/3.5)

A tripod is high on my things-to-get list...

I don't yet have photoshop or any other editing software, which is probably a good thing as encourages the learning of techniques on manual settings <which I've really enoyed blindly experimenting with so far :)>, so all shots are straight from camera...and some will most likely be less than great - but I'm learning :)
