I was a civil servant in the Scottish Government for 37 years then resigned to take up post as National Convener of Children's Hearings Scotland from which I retired in 2019. I enjoy travelling, gardening, cooking and baking. And taking photographs, often of plants and nature. Have been involved with Mayfield Radio - a local hospital radio station - for over 40 years and normally present a show on Friday evenings but COVID put a stop to that. The station is based at Mayfield Salisbury Church Edinburgh where I am an Elder and now Session Clerk. Married for 36 years to Patricia. 2 graduate children, a daughter in law and a grandson
