I'm not actually lucky to have been born and raised in a city. I was born in a rather grim town on the outskirts of Swansea.
However, I scraped myself through compulsory education, somehow managed to not fail college and then moved myself over to China during my gap year.
The chance to live somewhere other than small-town-small-mind South Wales was a life-changer and so far my university experience has been better than wonderful. Except the fact that I put minimal effort into my studies because I'm still too busy exploring the world.
