Lauri Laukkanen, born in 1992, first started off with photography by taking photographs of his family on their vacations. Then he grabbed a DSLR and decided to undertake a project that almost all photographers try to accomplish in some stage of their lives: THE 365 PROJECT. After 156 days of daily shooting, he started to get recognition in the photography circles and decided that photography is the thing that he wants to do for the rest of his life. Now he has found that the camera is stuck in his hands, he can't put it down, even if he would like to. Photography has consumed this man.

In the past 6 months, he has received multiple awards in international portrait competitions and his photography has been featured in the 1x.com, 500px.com and Vogue-photogalleries.

Lauri specialises in fine art/conceptual photography, as well as fashion and sports portraiture. But his interests don't stop there. Every day he finds something new that inspires him, and if you check back on this website in 6 months time, you might see completely new types of images. Lauri tries to renew his style often, and his goal is to push the boundaries of photographic genres.
