I have had a love of wildlife for quite some time, then with the gift of a digital bridge camera (a zoom lens which can't be removed), I was able to take practically as many photographs as I wanted, without fear of the cost at the end.

With little time to take photographs, my attention was and is largely to take photographs of the birds visiting my garden in town, and in my area, then sharing these on Blipfoto.

I am not a professional photographer, I am not an expert at it, and I have no doubt that there are much better photographs out there on the web and in books of the wildlife.
