It was in Cambodia whilst volunteering with VSO that my friend Alison introduced me to this strange new concept of Blipfoto.  On returning to the UK, I managed a blip a day for 2013 whilst living in Oxford.

I started blipping again in 2021, initially on Germany’s Baltic coast, and now back in Oxford.

I love the variety of subjects and styles by fellow Blippers - familiar views from my upbringing near Manchester, studying in Edinburgh, working in London, and living and traveling in Europe, Asia and beyond.

I hope the deceptively difficult challenge of taking and sharing one photo every day will continue to make me alert to interesting and quirky angles on daily living, and keep me positive about the fortunate life I lead and the wonderful people I share it with.
