Look beyond appearances

I spotted this bike on the way to seeing a film about a group of amazing musicians from the Congo, Benda Bilili which translates as 'look beyond appearances'.

The bike was chained up to a bike stand and I just thought the front wheel had been damaged accidentally. Rol looked beyond that first appearance and was of the opinion that the wheel had been jumped on after being parked up. Who knows which of us was right?

The film was great, with a lovely 'feelgood' factor and I'd recommend seeing it. Particularly if you are into world music.
