Shadow Play

Evening all,

Well we've had a good day today.

Did a mile or so in the local pool this morning, trying to build up a bit of stamina before i commmit myself to this years Great Swim, i'm hanging on a bit before i commit myself this year, with a bit of luck it might be full before i get a place!

Last time out they wouldn't let me wear the orange armbands or the rubber ring that i'd bought, or the flippers or snorkel, and there were absolutely no signs telling me where the shallow end finished and the deep end started.

Anyhoo, after we'd gone swmming came back, went out again, came back, went out again, came back again, watched the rugby, went out AGAIN, came back AGAIN,

sometimes living here is a bit like being in a permanent state of Okey Cokey !!

Ended up in the garden with the chainsaws sorting out some firewood, and i still haven't cut off any neccessary appendage after several hours of lumberjacking.

Took some lovely other pictures of number 1 daughter lazing in a hammock, number 1 wife doing all the gardening, and then number 1 wife tipping number 1 daughter out of hammock...

and then i went out (surprise), return home with confused elderly father, challenging game of Trivial Pursuit with competitive daughter,puzzled father and myopic wife,

and then i went out again, and now i'm in again....I've just realised if i had lopped off my feet with the Chainsaw it would've saved on a lot of shoe leather.
