Rain, rain, go away!

My morning photo walk was a bit late...actually an afternoon photo walk, and the predicted rain started to drizzle down on me (and my camera) before I got back to the car. This lovely sparrow was one of the last pictures I captured before I gave up and headed for home, but he posed so nicely I stayed and took a few extra blips. Well worth the wait though, even if I did get a little damp around the edges. They (the weather prognosticators) promised it would dry up tomorrow afternoon and get warmer for the end of the week. Do you really think it will? Hip Hip Hooray is what I say to that...if it actually happens!
