Taking the Sting out of a Tetanus Shot

Had my physical today. All good, except for the tetanus shot. And learning that it could take years for the occasional pain and strange sensations from my kitchen accident nine months ago to go away. Finger tips apparently have an incredible concentration of nerve endings.

I fell asleep on my daughter's floor this afternoon as she was reading to me - I think it was an effect of the vaccination. Rest of the day was very quiet. Just waiting for the inevitable bruised upper arm.
