No Domestic Goddess...

Family

Today was my Grandad's funeral.

He was 84 when he died, so had a fair old turn at the wheel. His heart gave out in the end.

My dad read the eulogy, being my Grandad's eldest son. I was very proud - he's a quiet man, certainly no public speaker - yet he did a wonderful job.

Afterwards we went to a lovely inn in Christchurch to toast my Grandad's life. I managed to get this nice shot in the pub garden of my mum, dad and sisters before a good old family bust-up meant we travelled back to Scotland the next day in relative silence and a tense atmosphere... Nothing like family get-togethers to bring out the best in folk....
