Lounging Lizard

After I spotted one of these it seemed like the whole wall was covered in them. I think they're very pretty - even if they are called Common Lizards. Creatures like these are not common as far as I'm concerned. I tried to see how close I could get and was surprised at the speed these things can move at.

I was also told that wildlife photographers who need to take long close ups of lizards will put them in a fridge beforehand just to slow them down.
