Lake Pukaki and Mount Cook

We woke up to this view this morning. The sun was just hitting the snow on the top of the mountains and Mount Cook was looking pretty spectacular. I blipped this view once before, but it looked quite different today.

We packed up the van and headed another hour and a bit down to Wanaka under brightening skies.
