Swimming Against The Tide

Copper Piping

Today, a view taken from inside the staff toilet nearest to my room. All very new and shiny methinks!

And yes, the wall really IS that colour - do you think they're trying to dissuade people from going in with hangovers?

Other than that, it's been another day of screaming teenagers. I'm still utterly unable to fathom what makes them behave as they do.

Separated desks and seating plans next.

What was nice was finishing a bit early today - afternoon was "non-contact" time, and since I'm technically still "supply" (albeit permanent supply running into contract), I was free to go.

Now I'm trying to wade through my admin and hoping to get a little bit of REAL maths done (group theory and complex analysis assignments are due in a couple of weeks)!!!

A full-time job in a "challenging school", a half-time and a bit degree, a concerto to memorize for July, a sonata I'm desperate to learn, a house that keeps falling to bits (now one loo won't flush, one tap won't turn off and one tap won't turn on), an internet life, 5 cats (2 with "issues"), about 500 e-mails and fb messages, and a whole heap of housework etc!!!

Not to mention a wonderful husband with whom it would be rather nice to spend a bit more "quality" time!

Keep up body, keep up mind, stay awake brain!!!

If you do, you can have a tin of custard, a glass of wine, and a nice magazine at the end of the week...

Deal?
