Pursuit

These three deer, following me down the trail, were in hot pursuit of my peanuts. They know what I carry in my little black bag, and they want their share. Actually there were six deer, even one little one who tried to eat out of my hand. She came close enough to bump her nose into my outstretched fingers, but wasn't quite brave enough to take the peanuts I was holding. Here she is with another doe, eating the peanuts before the birds could get to them. But the three I blipped, with their determined expressions, meant business, as in, "Hand over the peanuts or we're taking you down!" They wouldn't though; they are basically gentle creatures, very curious and always hungry.
