Pruning Lesson

At the last fundraising auction for our church, C made the winning bid for four hours of gardening by our friend Elizabeth, who used to be a professional gardener. We asked her to teach us how to prune, using one our Japanese maple trees for the demonstration.

The tree looks much better now, and I think C and will be able to do a decent job of it ourselves next time.
